Thank you for your interest in volunteering with TACP. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting child protection efforts.
What You Will Be Doing
Our volunteers assist trained social workers by investigating reported cases, contacting reporters and involved parties, gathering information, and compiling detailed reports to help protect vulnerable children.
When and Where You Will Be Needed
Volunteer activities are mostly remote and flexible, with some occasional in-person meetings or visits coordinated through the Department of Social Development. Availability during weekdays and some evenings is ideal.
Skills and Qualities We Look For
- Good communication and interviewing skills
- Attention to detail and ability to document clearly
- Basic understanding of child protection principles (training provided)
- Reliability and confidentiality
- Empathy and commitment to child welfare
